1Win Bombshell Vol.4 – Results, Figures, and Impact on eSports

Bombshell Vol.4 is the fourth tournament in the series, held under 1Win’s own brand for the esports community. The format remains online, but with strict organisational requirements: official servers, participant verification, live match moderation and open broadcasts on multiple platforms.
The latest competition brought together teams from Eastern Europe, South Asia and South America. CS2 was chosen as the discipline, with matches taking place in a best-of-three format in the playoffs and best-of-one in the group stages. The prize pool was $10,000, which was divided between the finalists and the teams that made it to the top 8.
Over the previous three seasons, Bombshell has grown beyond a local event. Vol. 4 was covered by English-language analytical channels and streamers, and the number of viewers at peak broadcasts exceeded last year’s figures, cementing the series’ place on the international esports agenda.
Format and Prize Fund
Bombshell Vol.4 took place from 14 to 20 March 2025 in Counter-Strike 2. Sixteen teams participated in the tournament, some of which received direct invitations, while the rest qualified through open qualifiers.
The group stage was held using the GSL system with best-of-one matches, which required participants to play consistently without any room for error. The playoffs were played in a best-of-three format, and the final was played in a best-of-five format.
The prize pool was $10,000. The winner received $4,000, and the runner-up received $2,000. Third to fourth place received $1,000 each, and the remaining prize money went to support the teams that made it into the top 8 to cover their preparation and participation expenses. Thanks to this system, not only the leaders were rewarded, but also promising teams that showed a high level of play.
Geography of Participants
Bombshell Vol.4 brought together teams from nine countries, covering four major regions: Eastern Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The selection provided contrast to the tournament bracket. Some teams were accustomed to an aggressive style and quick exchanges, while others relied on tactical waiting and map control.
Notable participants included Kazakhstan’s K23 Youth, known for its regional leagues, and Brazil’s Red Canids Academy, which competed outside its home scene for the first time. The Malaysian team Team Lynx was a surprise discovery, qualifying and defeating the favourites in the group stage. The presence of strong teams increased the competitiveness and proved that Bombshell attracts teams that are rarely seen in international online events.
Main Results
The Bombshell Vol.4 final was a tough one: Kazakhstan’s K23 Youth defeated Brazil’s Red Canids Academy 3-1 in a best-of-five series. The victory came at the cost of a bloody battle on every map, with the key moment being a 1v3 clutch by Kenzor, which turned the tide of the decisive Dust2.
One of the biggest surprises was Team Falcons Academy’s elimination in the group stage. The team was considered the favourite based on last season’s statistics, but lost their first two matches and failed to make it to the playoffs.
The players’ statistics deserve a special mention. The best K/D ratio of the tournament was achieved by smiley from K23 Youth with 1.43, while he also made three 1v2 clutches and kept his win rate on entry frags above 65%. Among the snipers, v1per from Team Lynx stood out, finishing the tournament with 0.78 frags per round and a record 36 kills with an AWP in a single map against Red Canids Academy.
